    Rigaku Analytical Devices is looking to fill a Sr. Manufacturing Technician role supporting our hand held product lines. The ideal candidate will be familiar working with complex electronic systems in assembly, test and troubleshooting. This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on product quality and delivery while working in a small company setting.

    Responsibilities

    • Assemble, test and inspect hand held analytical equipment
    • Assist with proprietary calibration process, serve as calibration support/overflow
    • Troubleshoot system level non-conformances down to root cause
    • Work with engineering to improve process and quality
    • Participate in continuous improvement and NPI efforts
    • Provide clear technical feedback to engineering, and project management
    • Utilize a range of instruments to assess system performance
    • Cross train between product lines and technical processes
    • Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction
    • Ensure job and repair related entries in ERP system are accurate and timely
    • Complete quality system paperwork as required
    • Other duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years working in electronic assembly as a Sr. level technician
    • Background with increasing responsibilities in manufacturing operations
    • The ability to solder skillfully
    • Must have a steady hand with excellent dexterity and eye-hand coordination to work with miniature components
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience working within an ISO9001 quality system
    • Experience working with an ERP system
    • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Mechanical aptitude
